I grew up on cape Cod, Massachusetts and started learning how to throw pottery in high school. I attended Rochester Institute  of Technology and majored in ceramic Sculpture in ndergraduates school and got my Masters at Syracuse University in the same field. Ive maintained a clay studio in my home for most of my life and continue to create in my home in Maine.

My current work is colorful, childlike and whimsical and mainly comprised of altered wheelthrown forms. I enjoy creating work that makes people think or smile.

My work is influenced by comic strips, modern art and pop culture.
